How to send us your own materials

Shipping Basics

Please have all your materials delivered to us within two weeks of placing the order. We only begin manufacturing COM products once received all materials. You may choose any shipping method you like for your materials. We recommend that you choose a shipper who provides accurate tracking and delivery confirmation. UPS, FedEx, and USPS Priority are commonly used. All materials must be shipped "FOB destination," meaning that you must pay all charges: packaging, insurance (if needed), and freight. In the event that we fail to receive your shipment, compensation will only be issued if you can provide comprehensive tracking information.

Shipping Tips

  • Items in transit are shaken constantly. Carefully pack your shipment to protect against damage or deterioration that may occur.
  • Package your items in boxes (or cartons) that will resist crushing and protect your items when dropped from a height.
  • To reduce friction that damages your fragile items such as decorative hardware, wrap each item separately in newspaper before placing the item(s) in the box.
  • If you send fabric in a bolt, make sure to use a shipping bag.
  • A box or bag can be reused if it is in good condition and its exterior is cleared of old shipping labels and information.
  • Apply strong tape designed for shipping.

Labeling Requirements

  • Please label all packages with the following: o To: Trule Custom Inc. 13450 N. Stemmons Freeway Suite 100, Dallas, TX 75234 o From: o Order # o Carton # __ of __ carton(s) (if applicable)
  • Please label all items with the following: o Order # o Design name, if applicable (e.g. Living Room) o Project name (e.g. Living Room) o Project name (e.g. Cascades) o Project name (e.g. first fabric)
  • Mark "partial" after the order # when that shipment contains only a portion of the materials needed for the order.
  • If you send two or more orders together in the same package, please mark all order #'s on the outside of the package. Segregate each individual order within the package with a layer of packing material such as a poly bag.
  • If you send two or more projects together in the same package, please mark all project names on the outside of the package. Bind the items associated with an project to a copy of their respective Project page (and Design page, if applicable) printouts. It should be immediately clear upon opening the package which copies are associated with each project.
  • Please place the shipping labels in a way that is easy to visually locate but that does not intersect the package opening, in order to avoid cutting the label when the package is opened.

Weight Limits

Individual package should not exceed 50 lbs., unless clearly labeled "Heavy Weight," viewable from both the top and sides of each overweight package.
