Color Consistency
1. Computer monitors
Computer monitors vary in their ability to show color accurately. Even calibrated monitors don't always represent the product color and texture precisely. We make every effort to show accurate color online but reproductions may vary from the actual product. We recommend that you order swatch cuttings of the materials if you have any questions at all about color matching.
2. Back lighting
If you're choosing a window treatment, please note that the colors shown online and within our catalogs are for fabrics or materials that are not backlit. Keep in mind that sunlight will backlight translucent fabrics. Backlighting can highlight fabric textures and patterns, and make a fabric's color appear softer. Blackout lined products are not affected by backlighting. You can examine the effect of backlighting by ordering swatches and holding them up to your windows.
3. Dye lots
We work very closely with our fabric supplier to ensure continuity of color. Even with the finest quality control however, dye lots will vary. We recommend purchasing as many of our window treatments, bedding ensembles and accessories as possible at the same time to ensure matching dye lots.
